Nigel McGuinness Released By WWE has been released from WWE after working for the company for six years

It has been announced that Nigel McGuinness is no longer with WWE. He is the latest announcer to leave the company, after Jimmy Smith’s exit was revealed 07 October 2022.

McGuinness most recently served as a weekly commentator on NXT Level Up, which airs every Thursday night

The former ROH champion had worked as a commentator for WWE since 2016. McGuinness signed in 2016 and was an announcer for NXT, as well as NXT UK, WWE Main Event and 205 Live.

WWE made several changes to its commentary teams Thursday, but McGuinness will not be working on any of those shows.

McGuinness's many years of wrestling experience include several World Championships and stints in TNA.
